Loss Extends Thunder Bay Losing Streak
The Buffalo White Walkers topped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 4-2, in United States Silver League action at Great Northern Field. The player of the game was Buffalo pitcher and Ft. Worth, Texas native Dusty Fox. Fox, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 8.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up no walks. Woodward Haberdash recorded the save for Buffalo, his 10th of the season.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Tom Smythe to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Dusty's tempo and rhythm were good," said White Walkers manager Chris Lau. "He was the key to us winning."
