The Phoenix Hotspur and D.C. Divided brought some excitement to Chase Field.
Behind a solid performance from shortstop Amon-Ra St. Brown, the D.C. Divided defeated the Phoenix Hotspur, 7-4. St. Brown was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Divided. D.C. reliever Aiden Dubhghall was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Tony Ramírez took the loss for Phoenix. Roberto Silva, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 12th save.
Ken Bone made it 6-4 in favor of D.C. when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with two out in the top of the eighth. The Divided went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Bone said after the game.
D.C. is now 22-28.
