Submarinos Hang 4-2 Loss on Uruguayans
|
The Amarillo Submarinos relied on the hitting of second baseman Li-ren Ku to stop the Germantown Uruguayans, 4-2. For the game, Ku went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times. Héctor Salazar picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-5. He struck out 4 in 5.1 innings. Donovan Poe closed the door for Amarillo, picking up his 23rd save of the year.
Early in the game, left fielder Rafael Abasto had a run-scoring double for Amarillo. It was his 21st double of the season and put the Submarinos on top, 1-0.
