Submarinos Rally For Late Win Over Beavers
The Amarillo Submarinos picked up a win at Beaver Town, knocking off the Northwest Territory Beavers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Paul Love was an essential part of his team's success. Donovan Poe got the save, his 22nd in 28 chances. At 41-52, Amarillo is in 8th place in the Menard's R.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Jorge Esparza to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Submarinos ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Love said after the game.
