Submarinos Knock Off Deer at Sheridan Forest

The Amarillo Submarinos handed the Sheridan Deer a loss at Sheridan Forest. The final score was 4-1. Franck Morel was named player of the game for Amarillo. Morel had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Francisco Martínez, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Submarinos a 4-1 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Morel.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Sheridan manager Scott Alexander. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
