|
Greenport Harbor Whales starter Ernesto Morín turned in an exceptional performance against the Northwest Territory Beavers at Beaver Town, resulting in a Greenport win, 4-2. Morín, now 6-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. Donnie Ash notched his 7th save in 9 chances.
Kazuki Takahashi, who is tied for 3rd in the 3R in runs scored with 42, aided the Greenport cause with a 2-run double in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
