Late Rally by Tigers Secures Win
|
The Twinsburg Tigers beat the Canonniers de Quebec, 4-3, at Paints Ballpark. The Tigers got a fine performance from right fielder Sadiya Seth, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times. The Tigers have now won 7 straight.
Twinsburg used the timely hitting of Brian Myers to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tigers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We did enough to win," said Myers.
