Orlebar Hurls Complete Game at Beyond the Wall
|
In a tight game between the Buffalo White Walkers and the Phoenix Hotspur, pitcher Gerald Orlebar was terrific on the mound. The Buffalo left-hander was named the player of the game in Buffalo's 3-1 win. The 7th-place White Walkers lifted their record to 20-24.
Orlebar earned the win, going 9 strong innings for Buffalo. The native of Kingston, Jamaica allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Phoenix hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.
Orlebar called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
