Multi-HR Game for Slaybaugh in 11-3 Win
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC powered past the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 11-3, at Great Northern Field. Jason Slaybaugh hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. Thunder Bay is 4th in the Silver League with a record of 23-19.

Ramón Padilla had a big 2-run double for the Northern Lions BC in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Thunder Bay leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Apollo Vermouth and stroked the double to left. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 4-1.

"Feels good to get the job done," Slaybaugh said after the game.
