Quebec City right fielder Esteban Sifuentes was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Montgomery beat the Baby Blues, 4-2. Sifuentes was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Biscuits, at 44-48, sit in 7th place in the Silver R.

Mérida, Mexico-born Emílio Vivas came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Biscuits trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run double to center to put Montgomery on top.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Vivas.
