Loss to Baby Blues Extends Montgomery Losing Streak
|
Fans who gathered at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium saw a good contest between the Quebec City Baby Blues and Montgomery Biscuits.
Quebec City right-hander Justin Frederick made an effective start against the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, leading his team to a 6-4 win. The Baby Blues, at 45-46, have now won 4 straight.
Quebec City used the timely hitting of Óscar Cardozo to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Baby Blues on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We're in a funk right now," said Montgomery skipper Félix Cruz.
