The Interns faced a stiff challenge from Franklin pitcher Yakobo Mutahi, but persevered to claim a win at Alouettes Ballpark. The final score was 2-1. Mutahi went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Capital Hill currently is in second place in the Silver R at 49-41.

In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 1-1, right fielder Hori Ikenaki won it for Capital Hill. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Ikenaki hit a 0-1 forkball from José Rivera for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 2-1 win.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ikenaki.
