López Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Redwood in Walk-Off Win
The Montgomery Biscuits wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter Joe Yoder, falling 2-1 to the Redwood Rhinos at The Zoo. The winner was Javier Merlo in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Karisnu Raghunathan took the loss. Montgomery now has a 5-game losing streak.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Redwood pinch hitter José López, facing Karisnu Raghunathan, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rhinos the 2-1 win.

"The vibe's good," said Redwood manager Kyle Myers. "We've got to keep it going."
