Quebec City third baseman Kawenaula Alohalani was instrumental in his team's 5-3 win over the Phoenix Hotspur Academy. Alohalani, who is tied for 5th in the SR in RBI with 49, went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Baby Blues. Josh Caldwell got credit for the save for Quebec City. It was his 19th of the year. The Baby Blues now have a record of 40-45.

Alohalani had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Edward Martin, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Baby Blues a 3-1 lead. It was the 17th double of the year for Alohalani.

Alohalani called the win "a collective effort."
