Montgomery played host to Hicksville at the friendly confines of Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.

Ning-qing Chao led Montgomery to a triumph over Hicksville. The final score was 7-3. The center fielder went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and added 1 RBI. Ron Holland earned the win for Montgomery. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 5 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 7-6.

In the bottom of the second, Mike Hunt hit a run-scoring triple for Montgomery. The 1st triple of the season for the Montgomery catcher put the Biscuits on top, 2-1.
