Baby Blues Stymie Franklin, Take 2-1 Win

Steve Young could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Franklin Fire lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Quebec City Baby Blues at Lawmen Ballpark. Quebec City goes to 31-39, Franklin to 32-38.
Had Juan Oleastro not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Oleastro hit a 2-run double. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Baby Blues.
"It feels good to get this one," Oleastro told the Quebec City Citizen.
