Schrattenthaler Now 6-7 After Subduing Biscuits
|
In a tight game between the Hicksville Hounds and the Montgomery Biscuits, pitcher David Schrattenthaler was terrific on the mound. The Hicksville right-hander was named the player of the game in Hicksville's 1-0 win. José Martínez, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. The Hounds bumped their record to 37-32 with this latest triumph.
The Hounds liked what they saw from Schrattenthaler. The 19-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Biscuits to no earned runs on 1 hit over 8 innings, and striking out 7.
Schrattenthaler told a Hicksville News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
