Biscuits Topple Hounds with Late Rally
The Biscuits had to overcome a fine effort from Hicksville pitcher Glenn Underwood to grab a narrow 5-4 win at Hound Pound. Underwood went 7.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Biscuits, at 37-30, sit in second place in the Silver R.

Montgomery used the clutch hitting of José Alvarado to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Biscuits ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"Glad to get this win," said Alvarado. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
