Biscuits Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rhinos
The Montgomery Biscuits scored a 3-2 win versus the Redwood Rhinos at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Montgomery pitcher Ron Holland nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The second-place Biscuits improved to 36-30.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Montgomery designated hitter José Alvarado, facing Javier Merlo, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Biscuits the 3-2 win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Alvarado.
