Burkholder Lays Hammer Down in 6-2 Win
The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Redwood Rhinos, 6-2, in USSL Rookie action at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, with Montgomery pitcher Shem Burkholder named player of the game. The second-place Biscuits improved to 35-29.

Burkholder delivered a quality start for Montgomery. The 6' 2" right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Montgomery manager Félix Cruz.
