Redwood pitcher Nick Cole gave the Fire all they could handle, but in the end, Franklin left Lawmen Ballpark with a 5-4 win. Cole allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings. José Rivera was credited with the save for Franklin, his 9th of the season. Franklin is now riding a 6-game win streak.

Franklin took a 5-4 lead on Tucker Sanford's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Redwood pitcher Blair Albrecht in the bottom of the seventh.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Sanford told the Franklin Today.
