Late Rally by Biscuits Secures Win
|
Quebec City wasted a solid 5.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Sylvain Richard, losing to Montgomery, 2-1, at Dylan Park. Picking up the save was Carlos Cabael, his 11th. The Biscuits' win now puts them at 25-20.
The result might have been different for Montgomery, had it not been for Chris Carson. The second baseman produced a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Biscuits ahead, 2-1. For the game, Carson had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Carson told the Montgomery Observer.
