Souza 'Lights Out' in Redwood Win
The Redwood Rhinos eked out a 1-0 win versus the Hicksville Hounds at The Zoo. Nobody did more than pitcher Jorge Souza, who captured player of the game honors. The 6th-place Rhinos now have a 4-game winning streak.

The standout performance belonged to 17-year-old Souza. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Rhinos. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Hounds, striking out 10 and scattering 3 hits over 8 innings. Souza is now 3-4 on the season.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Souza told the Redwood Daily.
