It was a good time at Ballpark of Fresno, where fans came to watch the Capital Hill Interns and Phoenix Hotspur Academy get after it.

Phoenix Hotspur Academy starter Bernard Hewer had all his pitches working at Ballpark of Fresno. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Phoenix win over the Capital Hill Interns. Hewer, now 5-1, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. The save was credited to Rafael Ramos, his 1st.

Tucheng, Taiwan-born An-yi Zhou came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Hotspur Academy trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right-center to put Phoenix on top.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Hewer.

The Hotspur Academy saw their record improve to 18-14.
