Montgomery Biscuits starter Clinton Repetto was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Franklin Fire, 3-2. Franklin has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Montgomery used the timely hitting of Ning-qing Chao to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Biscuits on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We take it day by day here," said Chao, "and today was a good one for us."
