Victory Pushes Baby Blues Record to 13-12
The Quebec City Baby Blues faced a tough opponent in Phoenix pitcher Edward Martin, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Fresno by a final score of 7-2. Martin went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Quebec City reliever Fred Bridges picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Edward Martin was collared with the loss. The 4th-place Baby Blues are now 13-12, the Hotspur Academy 15-10.

Quebec City used the timely hitting of Doug Chapman to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Chapman told the Quebec City Citizen.
