The Biscuits faced a stiff challenge from Quebec City pitcher Justin Frederick, but persevered to claim a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Frederick went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Reliever Jesús Delvalle picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Patrick Le Gall took the loss. Carlos Cabael nailed down his 4th save.

Montgomery took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Emílio Vivas hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Montgomery in front, 4-2.

Vivas expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."

Montgomery's record now stands at 11-10, placing them 5th in the Silver R.
