Cardozo on Fire: 5-for-5 for Quebec City
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Óscar Cardozo, it came around today.

The 18-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium to pace the Quebec City Baby Blues to a 13-5 victory over the Montgomery Biscuits.

Montgomery skipper Félix Cruz told reporters in the press room that "Cardozo deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Cardozo hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."

Óscar Cardozo singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

To date this year Cardozo is batting .375 with 1 home run.
