Miura goes 4-for-5 to Pull Voodoo to .500
The New Orleans Voodoo topped the Greenville 84s, 8-4, with third baseman Shimei Miura playing a big role. Miura went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Voodoo in the win. The 84s fall to 6-8 and continue their wobbly start to the 2038 season.

Miura had a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Gunnar Hoglund, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Voodoo a 6-4 lead. It was the 12th hit of the year for Miura.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Miura. "And not try to do too much."
