Rhinos Shut Out Baby Blues
The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at Dylan Park, knocking off the Quebec City Baby Blues, 4-0. Starting pitcher Daryl Clague played a key role in the triumph. Clague went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-1. Jo-hsi Ru nailed down his 1st save.

Redwood used a timely hit from José Flores to get the win. The first baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rhinos on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Redwood manager Kyle Myers.

With the win, Redwood pushes its record to 7-9.
