Young Dazzles in Franklin Win
The Franklin Fire got a strong performance from pitcher Steve Young, who stymied the Montgomery offense en route to a 2-0 win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Franklin, now 4-10, is off to a slow start.

Young, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 7 in 8 innings and gave up no earned runs.
