The Nashville Outlaws defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 7-3, at Nashville Stadium. Nashville catcher Ryan Wood was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Won-sup Yang got the win, improving to 2-3. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. The 5th-place Outlaws improved to 16-14.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing Thunder Bay hurler Jefferson Suhendro, Wilson Hernández hit a double. The Outlaws went on to win.
