The Las Vegas Flamingos topped the Buffalo White Walkers, 6-0, in United States Silver League action at The Strip. The player of the game was Las Vegas pitcher and Kasuga, Japan native Kagetoki Matsubara. Matsubara went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. Bartolo Morales was a prime contributor to the Las Vegas win. He was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the 35-year old third baseman hit a 2-run double. It made the score 3-0, in favor of the Flamingos.
