Hounds Topple Baby Blues with Late Rally
Hicksville withstood an impressive performance by Quebec City first baseman Elwiin de Meij to defeat the Baby Blues, 6-4, at Dylan Park. de Meij was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Damarco Lyons got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 8 innings, giving up 4 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. Emilio Linger finished the game for Hicksville and earned his 2nd save.

Hicksville used the bat of Trent Armstrong to get the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hounds ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Armstrong.

With the loss, Quebec City falls to 6-4.
