Baby Blues Solve Fire, 6-2
|
Quebec City pitcher John Stevens did his part in helping his team beat the Franklin Fire, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Quebec City, now 5-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.
The Baby Blues grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With two out, Kawenaula Alohalani, who is rated as the 52nd best prospect by BNN, hit a 3-run home run off George Battle, putting Quebec City in front, 4-0. For Alohalani, it was his 4th home run of the season.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Stevens said.
