Pocoroba Twirls Fire to Shutout Victory
The Quebec City Baby Blues struggled at the plate today against Fire hurler Biff Pocoroba, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete game 6-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Baby Blues skipper Tony Romero in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Pocoroba finished the game with 11 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance.

"He pitched real well," Franklin manager Mark Davis said. "Biff made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
