Quebec City left-hander Sylvain Richard made an effective start against the Surprise Shockers at ïAbbots Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Josh Caldwell earned the save, his 4th. With the win, Quebec City is 4-1.

The Baby Blues took the lead in the top of the third when Kawenaula Alohalani banged a two-out double. Quebec City had been trailing 1-0, but Alohalani hit a 1-0 forkball from Jonathan Klein for a 2-run double.

"Feels good to get the job done," Alohalani said after the game.
