Rhinos Score Late, Upend Fire, 3-2
|
Redwood right-hander Bjorn Hondelink made an effective start against the Franklin Fire at Lawmen Ballpark, leading his team to a 3-2 win. The loss lowers the Franklin record to 0-4.
Redwood used the clutch hitting of Jae-seop Byeon to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Rhinos the lead, 3-2. For the game, Byeon had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"We were in it," said Franklin manager Mark Davis. "We just didn't score enough runs."
