Baby Blues Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
The Zoo was the site of the home opener for the Redwood Rhinos. The contest featured a prime matchup between Justin Frederick of the visiting Quebec City Baby Blues and Jorge Souza of the Rhinos. The final score was 4-1, the Baby Blues getting the win. Earning player of the game honors was Justin Frederick.

Quebec City used the clutch hitting of Kawenaula Alohalani to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Everything felt in sync," said Frederick.
