Octopi Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Centennial
The Ogallala Octopi faced a tough opponent in Fort Knox pitcher Robert Moody, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Baxter by a final score of 4-3. Moody went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Their 47-47 record puts the Octopi 7th in the Premier R.

Ogallala used the timely hitting of León Galiano to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Octopi ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Galiano told the Ogallala News.
