Tulsa starter Martin Luther put a stranglehold on the Long Island offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Otters to a 4-0 win. Luther went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 8-5. Tulsa is third in the Premier R with a record of 50-34.

Tulsa relied on the bat of Alfredo Valdéz to get the win. The second baseman produced a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Otters ahead, 3-0. For the game, Valdéz had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
