Mora 'Lights Out' in Valley View Win
The Valley View Cougars picked up a win at Titans Ballpark, knocking off the Crowley Cajuns, 8-2. On the mound for Valley View was left-hander Fernando Mora, who played a pivotal role in the win. The 5th-place Cougars improved to 25-25.

Mora, a native of La Vega, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Crowley hitters off-balance, while giving the Cougars 8.2 quality innings. Mora threw 109 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 11.

"I had a good game plan," said Mora. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Jay Smith said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
