Octopi Squelch Cougars Offense in Shutout Win

Ogallala Octopi starter Chris Rice was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Valley View Cougars, 4-0. With the victory, the Octopi record now stands at 18-21.
Ogallala grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Sergei Adjubei delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Octopi.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Ogallala manager Luis Muńóz. "Our pregame was pretty good."
