Ducks Come Back Late to Top Lead Sox
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Long Island Ducks took Indiana pitcher Armando Sosa's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ducks Park. The final score had Long Island getting past the Lead Sox, 2-1. Sosa went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 8. The Ducks saw their win-loss record go to 19-20. At the same time, the Lead Sox fell to 19-20.

Benoît Baudry was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ducks left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll savor this win," Baudry told the Long Island Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
