The Indiana Lead Sox got a superb performance from pitcher Armando Sosa, but the Ogallala Octopi still won the game, 1-0. Sosa was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. The Octopi improve their record to 9-12 with the win over Indiana.

Ogallala used the timely hitting of Try Fryfogle to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Octopi on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Fryfogle called the win "a collective effort."
