The game between Long Island and Crowley is in the books, despite a little rain.

Long Island Ducks starter Neil Mitchell was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Crowley Cajuns, 6-3. Ian Carr earned the save, his 4th, for the Ducks.

Long Island used the clutch hitting of Ricardo Urquijo to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to give the Ducks the lead, 3-0. For the game, Urquijo had 2 singles and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Urquijo told a Long Island Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

The win brings the Ducks to 7-9, a soft start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
