Lead Sox Get Close Win Over Ducks
|
Indiana used a superb performance from starting pitcher Armando Sosa to down the Long Island Ducks, 2-1. The win gives Indiana a record of 3-3.
Had Mike O'Halloran not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, O'Halloran hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Lead Sox.
"We found a way to get it done," O'Halloran said.
