People near Titans Ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

The Tulsa Otters got a sterling performance from pitcher Ángelo Ruíz, but the Cajuns still prevailed, 2-1. Ruíz was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Losses have been few and far between for the Otters, who are now 4-1.

Dustin Damitz was the walk-off hero for Crowley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cajuns pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Damitz said.
