McCusker Delivers Walk-Off Win for Gold Sox
Chicago starter Jubal Ropp pitched effectively against the York Revolution at Little Gold Sox Park. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Chicago reliever Joel Plowden picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Walt McPike was collared with the loss. The Gold Sox sit in 8th place in the Premier A with a record of 39-47.

Chicago took a 2-1 lead on Jack McCusker's 14th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which McCusker hit in the bottom of the 11th, left York pitcher Walt McPike visibly frustrated.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Chicago field general Curtis Lee.
