Revolution Topple Tula with Late Rally

Fans who gathered at Ramblers Ballpark saw a good contest between the York Revolution and Chicago Tula.
York rode a decent outing from starter Manny Pinto to victory over the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. York reliever Jorge Martínez got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Mario Quintero was tagged with the loss.
York used the timely hitting of John Birges to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Revolution on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Pinto said.
The Revolution now have a record of 36-36 with the win over Chicago.
